According to the official statement from the McCain campaign, "this was a partisan led inquiry run by Obama supporters." But the investigation was carried out by the Alaska Legislative Council. The members of the Council are 10 Republicans and 4 Democrats. The Council voted 12-0 to release the report by investigator Steve Branchflower.
