Dr. Kern has a MS in Neuroscience and a PhD in Human Development and is the Director of Research at the Autism Treatment Center in Dallas, Texas. She has been doing clinical research in autism for the last 14 years. The current focus of her research is in biomedical vulnerability, toxicity, and biomarkers in autism, as well as treatment efficacy trials. She has many peer-reviewed publications and had acted as a reviewer for several journals.
