Jason Pollock is a filmmaker, writer, and activist who currently lives in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

He has just finished writing, producing, and directing his first film called, "The Youngest Candidate".

‘The Youngest Candidate’ is the 1st feature doc ever produced by David Letterman’s company, Worldwide Pants, in partnership with Oscar winner Lawrence Bender (producer of ‘Pulp Fiction’ and ‘An Inconvenient Truth’, etc..) and Balance Vector Productions. It follows the story of 4 teens that ran for public office in America.

In August of 2008, Jason formed The Youngest Candidate Inc., a 501c3 non-partisan non-profit organization to continue the work that he started with his film to get young people more interested in politics. This non-profit organization has started Youngest Candidate Student Action Committees at high schools and colleges all over America.

Jason also toured the country with his film to get the youth vote out through election day 2008. Jason went to 21 cities in 10 battleground states with Zune and Declare Yourself to get the young people excited about voting.

Prior to making this film, Jason was Michael Moore's assistant for almost 3 years. He worked with him from 2003-2006 and during that time aided Moore on his works such as "Dude Where's My Country", "Fahrenheit 9/11", and "Captain Mike Across America".

Pollock went to 60 cities in 30 days with Moore in 2004 to get the vote out and he went to 21 cities in 10 battleground states in 2008 with "The Youngest Candidate".
