Jason Sigal manages the Free Music Archive, an interactive online library of curated mp3s that can be shared, legally, under terms defined by the artists themselves. The project is spearheaded by freeform radio station WFMU in collaboration with a group of independent curators including KEXP, CBC Radio3, Creative Commons and dublab. Jason is also a semi-professional musician, and hosts the weekly radio program Talk's Cheap on WFMU.

You know Megaupload. It's one of those sites you sometimes encounter en route to download stuff. Ads pop up, and you try to avoid purchasing a premium account, even though if you'd just give in then your download would be done by now.
