Jay. Dude. Calm down. We can handle this. We're fortysomethings. The power age. Right?

It's not about age - that's a common misconception. There are plenty of boomers who remain well-informed and passionate about real politics -- the issue is how many U.S. Voters from the Greatest Generation through the boomers and the Xers to Generation Obama are getting most or all of their information filtered through biased commercial media outlets beholden to the corporations and/or politicians who boost their bottom lines.

The mythical era of objective journalism is long past. Blogs are suspect, too, of course: everybody has an agenda. But to rely on mainstream media in the expectation of fair and balanced, unbiased reporting is hopelessly naive.

Period.
