In his decision to veto legislation today that would increase government health insurance to children, the President has made his priorities clear: fund the Pentagon at twenty times the rate of the State Department, and veto expanded health coverage for children.
Mr. Bush's gesture reflects not only his ideology, but the mindset of the his party which pledges to protect the so-called "right to life" while spitting in the eye of the living.
Is it any wonder that we've come closer to understanding neanderthals better during this administration than at any other time in history?

What is shameful more than anything that King George has done in his time as leader is the fact that America brags of its method of Government which in point of fact stinks to high heaven. What is the good of breaking away from the methods of the mother country and bragging of the wonderful Constitution if the document in question takes away the means of the people and the peoples representatives and allows dictatorial ability for one man to rule in so many issues. What you need to do is to admit that it does not work and revert to a Parliament and a House of Commons and the Brit way of selecting Party rather than individual. The reigning party should select their top man and be able to change that man when the public make it clear that they no longer have a 'confidence' in that man. Mr Blair had to go and it was comparatively painless to have that happen. You might just have to start all over again folks and get it right this time?
Clever Neanderthals though. Mean and vicious race baiters determined to win the class warfare, they have stitched together a republican veto proof majority more often than not since 1980. We need to beat them at the ballot box by getting working class citizens to take a long look in the mirror in November 2008.
It will take up to 12 years to undo the damage done by George Bush and his cronies.
Hey, don't insult neaderthals like that! More and more evidence is coming out that they were a very intelligent, caring, loving group people. Unlike this current admin which seems to me to be more like the "terists" that they speak about than the actual terrorists...
