There Is No Denying Life

Life is not meant to be lived in denial. It is meant to be lived in moderation.

Life is not meant to be lived cut off from your emotions or denying them. It is meant to be lived mindfully of them. Watching them and managing them, rather than being managed by them.

To live life any other way is to deny the very things that make us human. It is to deny the very things that we were put on this plane to experience.

If we live shut off from hate and anger, we also shut ourselves off from love and joy.

The answer is not to run from the world and body you live in. The answer is to embrace it for all of its beauty and all of its faults. It is to be aware of the good and the bad, the right and the wrong. It is to be aware of ourselves and the world we live in, and to consciously make our choices for the path we want to follow.

That is the only way we learn, that is the only way we grow and evolve -- by making the mistakes we make, by accepting them, and by letting them go.

The only way we learn is by making mistakes -- there is no shame in that.

The only way we grow is by accepting them -- there is only insight in that.

The only way we evolve is by letting them go -- there is only beauty in the enlightenment that follows.

Searching for what is truly you only leads upward. Never be afraid to question, to ask, to contemplate what you have done in life. For every set-back, every seeming failure is only another step onward.

Love yourself, warts and all -- for they are there for a reason that is larger than you could ever dream of.
