The reason that the FBI (and DHS) have such awful computing systems are that the gifted people who could really do it right aren't interested in the job.

I love all the detail jokes. I was hoping to find a Coleco ADAM or an Apricot in there, but I guess they'd be redundant with the TRS80 and NCR. For a second, when I first looked, it was 1990 and high school computer class all over again.
