I remember last time Lieberman ran there were a number of "progressives" who backed him. They argued that just because Lieberman had his nose up Bush's posterior on the Iraq invasion, he was still a strong supporter of domestic liberal issues. I shook my head in disbelief at their ignorance.
Lieberman has always been among the least liberal on issues that really matter. His stance on the public option should surprise no one who has ever paid attention.
I hope those that supported Lieberman last time have finally awoken, but I won't hold my breath.
