It's interesting that in the so-called greatest city in the world, the victory parade ran all the way from the Battery to City Hall - what is that, three-quarters of a mile? (Ours last year ran through Center City to the stadiums. About four miles. An estimated million people came into the city for the occasion. I look forward to the next one.)
But at least the Yankees parade hit the part of the city that matters (the Financial District, for those of you who are unfamiliar with New York geography.). ;-)
