Seems like these so called gaffes are kind of manufactured indignation. I read about the Olympics "gaffe". Gee, when questioned, he commented that he didn't know how it would all turn out but that the security problems that had occurred were disconcerting. This is a gaffe? This is insulting? The fact that British commentators acknowledge that he was absolutely right in his comments doesn't defuse the media furore? Hmmm... wonder why not? Somebody trying to make this into something it is not?
