Jeff Gibbs broke into documentary filmmaking as a field producer for “Bowling for Columbine.” When the film’s music fell through he then stepped in and composed the original score as well. Jeff next served as co-producer and composer for “Fahrenheit 9/11.” He was a consulting producer for the Dixie Chicks documentary “Shut Up and Sing” and was co-producer of “At The Edge of the World” about the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. Jeff wrote the original music for Michael Moore’s recent film “Capitalism: A Love Story.” Prior to becoming a filmmaker Jeff wrote environmental stories for the Detroit Free Press and other outlets. He is currently working on a documentary about the state of the planet and the future of humanity.
