Jeffrey A. Landers, CDFA™ is a Divorce Financial Strategist™ and the founder of Bedrock Divorce Advisors, LLC, a divorce financial strategy firm that exclusively works with women, who are going through, or might be going through, a financially complicated divorce (we provide financial analyses and projections, not legal services). Jeff can be reached at Landers@BedrockDivorce.com.

For those women who are currently going through a divorce or thinking about it, we analyze both the short- and long-term financial and tax implications of various divorce settlement options in order to help our clients secure their financial future. In other words, will they be financially OK now and in the future?

For example, how should the various marital assets be divided - the house(s), rental property, retirement and pension plans, stock options, brokerage accounts? What if there are closely held businesses involved? How much alimony should be paid, by whom and for how long?

As the financial expert on our client’s divorce team, we work hand-in-hand with their divorce attorney and other professionals. Our job is to take care of the critical financia tasks that are beyond the scope of the divorce attorney's expertise, from preparing the financial affidavits to projecting the financial and tax implications of each divorce
settlement option.

While the divorce attorney handles all legal matters, including the actual settlement negotiations (using our projections and analyses as their “ammunition”), we make sure that our clients are financially covered before, during, and after their divorce.

We also provide premarital and pre-divorce planning to female executives, professionals and business owners. One of our specialties is advising women business owners ($1MM+ in annual revenues) on what steps they can take now to "divorce-proof" their business in the event of a future divorce.

Our sister company, Bedrock Wealth Management, LLC, helps our Bedrock Divorce clients and other post-divorced women once their divorce has been finalized. Our goal is to help make each client’s divorce settlement last as long as possible while achieving her various goals and objectives. We assist with budgeting, retirement planning, college savings, asset protection, insurance, estate planning and all other investments needs.
