Jennifer Brookland studied international politics and African studies at Georgetown University, then
spent four years conducting criminal investigations for the U.S. Air Force. She received a master’s degree
in journalism from Columbia University and a master of arts in law and diplomacy from the Fletcher
School. Jennifer has reported from New York, Arizona, Boston, Washington DC, and Nairobi. She now
works as the senior content producer at Counterpart International.
