Senator Hillary Clinton Stumps for Change in New Hampshire

Senator Hillary Clinton spent the day campaigning for change in New Hampshire. She lauded the "Obama-Biden" ticket and made a strong appeal for U.S. Senate candidate Jeanne Shaheen.

"John Sununu and John John McCain are offering more of the same," Clinton told an enthusiastic crowd of supporters, many of whom supported her during the New Hampshire Primary. Families and small business are suffering under the "Bush-Sununu economy."

With Obama ahead in polls in New Hampshire, much attention has turned to the fierce race between Senator John Sununu and former Governor Jeanne Shaheen, a rematch from 2002.

"I've knocked on thousands of doors and only met a few people who supported HIllary Clinton but don't support Obama," said a canvasser, a male in his 60s. Asked whether he thinks Shaheen is ahead of Sununu, the canvasser shook his head.

"That's a tigher race. But that's why (Hillary Clinton) is here. For Shaheen."
