Jeremy Symons is Deputy Staff Director at the U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works. Until February, 2013, Jeremy formerly served as Senior Vice President for Conservation and Education at the National Wildlife Federation, America’s largest conservation organization.

Jeremy first joined National Wildlife Federation in 2001 to direct the Federation’s global warming campaign. Prior to joining National Wildlife Federation, Jeremy served as Climate Policy Adviser at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). He helped develop policies to address climate change and supported EPA’s innovative programs to foster public-private partnerships that conserve energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Jeremy holds a Masters degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University and a BA in Environmental Studies from Brown University.
