Jesse Greenberg is a Chicago-based and independent public affairs professional. He's a veteran of political campaigns and agency life. Clients have included Fortune 500 corporations, major non-profits, government agencies, and candidates for state and local office.

More than anything else, Jesse is interested in bringing new media strategies to public affairs. Traditionally, public affairs has been one of the last disciplines to adopt new marketing practices. However, the power for online and word of mouth strategies to transform issues is gaining greater prominence as political marketing evolves. Jesse is experienced in bringing new media expertise to campaigns and organizations to help deliver an impactful message and connect with audiences.

In 2008, Jesse graduated from Northwestern University's Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) graduate program at the Medill School of Journalism. He also received two awards from the Institute for Politics, Democracy and the Internet (IPDI) at George Washington University - best campaign blog and best website - while working with a candidate running for state representative.

Jesse continues to work on various public affairs projects and campaigns and is excited (and open) for new opportunities.

He blogs regularly about the role new media is playing in public affairs at http://publicaffairs2point0.wordpress.com.
