Jessica Ou
Jessica is 20-year-old youth activist. Jessica serves on the Executive Council of the International Youth Council, USA, founded at the United Nations Youth Assembly by the UN Secretary-General. She focuses on initiatives to fulfill the United Nations Millennium Development Goals, ranging from eradicating extreme poverty to providing universal primary education. She also serves as an Advisory Board member for UNICEF’s Chinese Children Initiative, serving on behalf of the most vulnerable children of China. Jessica serves on the National Student Advisory Council for the American Association of University Women and also on the Youth Advisory Council for the Crisis Text Line, a subsidary of, the world's largest youth action organization. The text line is the world's only 24/7 text message hotline for teens and has already facilitated over 10,000 conversations.

Jessica has been named "10 Campus Women to Watch Out For by the AAUW, a 2014 Woman of Peace by the Women's Peacepower Foundation, and has been awarded the Big Dreamers Award from Free The Children for constructing a healthcare facility in Sierra Leone, Africa, the world's most impoverished country.

Jessica currently studies at the University of California, Berkeley as a junior, and is studying Business, Social Welfare, and Human Rights. She has been web designing since she was six years old and runs a freelance web design company in her free time. She plays four different flute instruments, watches documentaries, and likes shooting portrait photography.
