Jessica Levin is an education policy analyst and researcher who has served as an Education Policy Advisor in President Bill Clinton’s Department of Education, an instructor at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a parent and community organizer around quality federal education programs for the Center for Law and Education. Most recently, she served as Chief Knowledge Officer for TNTP, a national nonprofit organization working to ensure all students get excellent teachers, where she co-authored two landmark reports on teacher hiring and school staffing policies and practices. She holds a J.D. from Yale Law School.

If only Diane Ravitch had applied her formidable skills as a historian in her new book, Reign of Error: The Hoax of the Privatization Movement and the Danger to America's Public Schools. No doubt she would have done enough legwork to realize that there is a critical mass of education...
