Jim McKay is State Director of Prevent Child Abuse West Virginia, the leading organization working to prevent child abuse and neglect in West Virginia.

Previously, Jim was Coordinator of Time Out Youth Shelter, a crisis shelter for runaway and homeless youth. Jim also led various initiatives promoting private support for public schools for the Education Alliance during the 1990’s and served as Assistant to the Speaker of the WV House of Delegates from 1991-1994.

Jim currently serves on the Board of Directors for the National Alliance of Children's Trust & Prevention Funds and is Chair of the WV Legislative Action Team for Children & Families.
