As a confirmed cord-cutter, I have four Rokus and subscriptions to Netflix, Hulu Plus and Amazon Prime. I also have an antenna on my roof that does a pretty good job with local channels, but the vast majority of my viewing--probably more than 99%--is on Netflix, Hulu and Amazon.

Content Is Bad for Business

Is your TV on? If so, there's content on it. Music in the background? More content. Is it NPR or Pandora? Miley Cyrus or Ludwig van Beethoven? Doesn't matter, it's all content.

The word "content," applied to great creative work, just feels wrong....

There's something about technology and innovation that makes people a little nutty.

Show them a fancy gadget or tease them with what might be the next great social-media app and suddenly intelligent, thoughtful people are willing to believe crazy things. It's like the laws of economics have somehow been suspended....
