7 Photos From the Caribbean That Make Me Want to Go Back

This winter is harsh in New York City, and although the Caribbean islands are often overlooked, these photos most definitely instill the wanderlust I need to take a trip back -- asap.

I took these photos from my Caribbean cruise with Princess Cruises earlier last month, and all I want to do is go back. This winter is harsh in New York City, and although the Caribbean islands are often overlooked, these photos most definitely instill the wanderlust I need to take a trip back -- asap.

The water in the Cayman Islands is crystal clear with beautiful white sand, crisp cotton ball clouds.

As soon as we docked in Cozumel, Mexico - we sat to soak in this view for a good twenty minutes.

Who needs beach umbrellas when you've got palm trees?

I took this photo while on the ship, as the sun was sinking from the sky into the ocean. There is a stillness here that forces you to be present in this very moment, and it takes your breath away.

I remember waking up from my stateroom this morning to use the restroom, and my eyes half-open caught a glimpse of the red colors outside my window. I decided to drag my a-s over to see this. This sunrise was and probably always will be one of the most stunning sunrises I have ever seen in my life.
