Cheever, author of Back From the Dead: One woman’s search for the men who walked off America’s death row (John Wiley & Sons 2006) is a freelance journalist and a former Managing Editor at The National Law Journal. She is a graduate of Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and a member of the bar in the states of Texas, Connecticut and New York. Cheever is currently working on her next book about her travels across America with Moreese Bickham, the oldest former death row inmate in the U.S.
