Here is the piece of the puzzle that eludes me. Whatever Judith Miller wrote about Valerie Plame, it was never published. Until a piece is finished and printed, it has no public existence. How can anyone be accused of revealing information in article that was never published? How can you reveal the identity of anyone -- CIA operative, puppeteer, ringleader, secret benefactor, caped crusader -- if the document in which you do it is not made public? To whom are you revealing it? Your editors?
