The Huffington Post is seeking an experienced associate editor for its expanding social impact platforms, specifically its Good News vertical, Global Motherhood and ImpactX programs. As associate editor of these sections, you will specialize in aggregating news stories, and thinking of out-the-box ideas for viral content; you will spend your time curating our social media channels, interacting and reaching out to potential bloggers, interacting with various partners to optimize their content, and building slideshows and photo galleries. Purpose of role

Purpose of role
This role will be managing the existing SEO team to ensure AOL UK is maximising its SEO potential through a fact-based, evidence & best-practice approach to large scale site optimisation. This role requires a combination of technical SEO knowledge, analytical skills as well as the ability to develop and implement onsite and offsite SEO strategies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, be able to articulate informed practical advice to people at multiple levels within the organisation. Key Role Accountabilities
• Provide mentoring for in-house team to develop SEO knowledge and skills.

Person Requirements

We are seeking an Account Executive who will be focused on developing sales opportunities for Huffington Post specific to the assigned geographic region. The Huff Post AE will report to the Regional Sales Director and will work closely with the RSD to respond to client RFPs and provide account management. Key responsibilities include developing compelling marketing solutions and providing top-notch customer service to clients. Will function as the Huffington Post product expert within the region.
The Huff Post Account Executive will develop key relationships with AOL AEs, ADs, AM’s and internal Advertising sales contacts and work with Huffington Post Media Group, Sales, and Product Marketing Managers to manage sales communications regarding product and sales operations issues and opportunities. Then we've got the perfect fellowship for you! The Huffington Post Black Voices team is looking for a spring fellow to join our family. This isn't a get-coffee-and-make-copies kind of fellowship. The Black Voices fellow would be considered a full team member and would have an opportunity to contribute to the daily editorial operation, from producing content to sharing new ideas to interacting with our community via social networks. The Team
The Huffington Post Operations team manages the day-to-day and long-term initiatives related to advertising inventory monetization and campaign operations, content publishing and native advertising products, consumer and audience research and analytics, and executive business metrics and reporting. This team reports to the CEO of The Huffington Post, Jimmy Maymann, and is tasked with driving critical business initiatives for revenue growth.

Purpose of role & Accountabilities
Working within the Branded Content and Creative Solutions team this is a varied role, developing and designing engaging ad formats and creative executions for a wide range of advertisers across the AOL and Huffington Post sites.
Day to day job tasks will include designing and building custom rich media ads and bespoke sponsorship creative as well helping the team brainstorm concepts and mock up ideas.
Experience across Adobe Creative suite including Flash AS3 is essential as well as front-end coding, languages and principles.
The ideal candidate will have a very good level of experience in an agency environment and hold a degree in a relevant subject.
They must be able to demonstrate a strong eye for creative, and conceptualization, as well as discipline in terms or working to a deadline and accurately reflecting brand guidelines. Ideally we need someone with a creative flair but also aren’t scared to get mucky in a bit of coding!
