New Jersey's Bon Jovi Snubbed By Rock Hall Again

New Jersey rock band Bon Jovi yet again was dissed by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. For the second year in a row, Bon Jovi was eligible for induction into the Hall, and, again, the band was not included. The nominees that beat them out are the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kiss, Genesis, ABAA, L.L. Cool J, Darlene Love, Donna Summer, Jimmy Cliff, Laura Nyro, the Chantels, the Hollies and the Stooges. "That's right," wrote The Star-Ledger's Jay Lustig, "according to members of the nominating committee, Larua Nyro out-rocks Bon Jovi." Ouch. For more details, read Jay's complete article on NJ.com.

Bon Jovi never impressed me that much. The women really like him a lot. He has a good voice but is just an adequate guitarist. I just don't see where he has offered up anything new,creati­ve,differe­nt exciting or noteworthy. Besides their good looks they are just another rock bank to me.

Don't sweat it Jon, it's CLEVELAND fer chrissakes---THEY are like the old Grammys---remember Hendrix and the Beatles never won one of those in their prime! Amazingly Patti Smith is in the Hall of "Fame"...guess they were trying to be cool...lol

Politics in RocknRoll that could be the only explanation for Bon Jovi's exclusion.
