Joel Weinberger is Professor of Psychology at the
Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University. Prior to that he completed a post-doctoral fellowship in human motivation at Harvard University. He is author or co-author of more than 80 published articles and chapters and two books. His interests include unconscious processes, personality, motivation, political psychology, and effective components of psychotherapy. His work has been funded by the National Institute of Mental Health and he was awarded the Ulf Kragh award (University of Lundh, Sweden) for his work on unconscious processes. He is a founding member of Implicit Strategies, an organization that assesses unconscious processes. Dr. Weinberger is also a practicing clinical psychologist.
