BillO obviously is feeling some heat over his vile words the other day when he compared Hitler and the KKK to some anonymous commenters on the Huffington Post and attacking Arianna. In his perverted defense, he says that the use of propaganda by the Nazis to murder millions of Jews is an honest comparison to some idiots leaving comments on a blog.
O'Reilly: ...from the late nineteen twenties to nineteen thirty three when Hitler became chancellor, the Nazis used vile propaganda to demonize Jews and others in the eyes of the German people. The used newspapers, radio, leaflets and rallies to build up enormous hatred towards your family.
Today we're seeing the same thing on the net here in America, there is no difference. When Arianna Huffington allows people to say that Nancy Reagan should suffer terribly and then die, that is no different that what doctor Joseph Goebbels and others were putting out way back then.
What an ignorant fool. Yea, a few commenters on blogs are in some way equal to Hitler and his mass rallies that led millions of people to their deaths in O'Reilly's world. Right wing demagogues will say absolutely anything to justify their insane actions. Rarely if ever, BillO will take a look at right wing sites to see what they are up to as Steve Young points out.
I know you won't because you never have. You've always said that the Right's smears are minuscule as compared to the Left's. What, you've never listened to talk radio? You've never gone through the tons of right wing sites? You've never watched your show?
When you first ripped into DailyKos you admitted you had never even heard of FreeRepublic.com, one of the largest right wing blog sites on the Net. Some crack research staff...read on
I didn't see BillO repudiate Michelle Malkin when I broke the story about her printing the phone numbers of Santa Cruz students because they were against military recruiting on their campus...who were then inundated with hate calls and death threats.
After our successful counter recruitment action on Tuesday, the right wing decided to resort to personal threats and intimidation. SAW Press team members received hundreds of threatening emails and phone calls, after inflammatory blogger Michelle Malkin put the students' personal information on her blog. More than a dozen other websites followed suit. She refused to remove the information, even after she was politely asked and the safety concerns were brought to her attention.
The SC students contacted me to help them out when the hate got too intense. Se was quickly repudiated by some of her own, but where was Bill? Where was Bill when she attacked the Frost family? Where was Bill when the warmongering Charles Johnson of Little Green Footballs attacked Jill Carroll after she was released from being kidnapped in Iraq because she was forced to make anti-American statements with guns pointed at her head? Where was...ahhh...you get the point.

Accusing anyone they disagree with of doing what they themselves do is always SOP for the Right. This is nothing new. It is the big lie and who is a bigger liar than BillO?
O'Reilly is a product of a mediocre Catholic education, Arianna graduated from Cambridge University.
I was once a true Catholic, so I know about Catholic education. (The Jesuits were good if you wanted to be a lawyer.) The rest are hopeless and rigid conformists.
O'Reilly though, is not only a Catholic, he's an idiot. Double ideological stupidity is hard to beat.
What's that Chinese proverb? this is a paraphrase: An empty vessel is noisy.
"An empty vessle makes the most noise"
O'LIElly is just jealous that Arianna has a lot more neurons firing. If we're talking talent, specially consciencious use of talent, he's not deserving of tying Arianna's shoelaces.
I wonder if O'R..... could get a gig broadcasting from a studio in Del Rio, Tx through XEG's transmitter for 15 minutes between 2:00 & 4:30 AM Central time if he left Faux Noise.
Lord have mercy, this man is desperate. The whole country is lining up to reject him in the voting booth. Can somebody please tell this dinosaur that nobody under the age of 70 is listening to him?
I am 61-years-old and I listen to Keith Olbermann. I think I'm supposed to be in the idiot's demographic. Not only would I never in a million years tune into Bill O'Reilly, I wish the whole Fox Network News division would go away. They are a blister, cankor, boil, herpes, pox viril infection on the body politic.
Only one little quibble...
My 70-something parents would take exception to your statement. They are die-hard Olbermann fans and consider BillO the worst sort of "blow hard" (a great expression they are fond of using.)
Otherwise, your characterization of Fox is hilariously descriptive!
An insult from a hawkish dolt like O'Reilly is a badge of honor to anyone who seeks to restore sane leadership to this country. That said, it's hard not to be amused. Just when I think this man couldn't possibly be more twisted, he outshines himself with remarks like these. The irony of anyone on Faux News comparing another organization to the Third Reich is perfectly ludicrous. Besides channeling Goebbels is entirely Bill O'Reilly's franchise.
Arianna is taller, has more money and is has a nicer plane than Goebells !
I cannot understand why ppl don't organize a boycott of his advertisers. He is a vile being.
I guess Bile O'Really hasn't looked at Ms Huffington on a HD TV. Ms Huffington is attractive & aged to perfection. Herr G was not attractive. Ms Huffington & the editors of HP are obsessed with making HP a site which presents its users with fair & balanced coverage of the subjects which HP covers. While HP is a monitored site-HP does not practice censorship. A comment which is witty, on thread & isn't redundant has a good chance of being seen on HP. HP posts the rules which are used by HP's monitors & editors in deciding if a comment is to appear on HP. HP's rules are concise, fair, easy to understand & simple. I feel that HP would not tolerate me making invidious comparisons of Fox News with HP. It wouldn't appear on HP. HP does not tolerate libel or words & opinions which are in patently bad taste or advocate unlawful acts. Comments of that sort will not appear on HP-ever
Let the little hate-weasel harrumph and bluster. Yes, some, maybe many buy his brand of panic and finger pointing. But the more you hear an idiot talk the less serious you listen. People grow tired and move onto the the next flavor, O'Reilly will have to reinvent himself again once the republi-fem-bots take over the conservative air waves. He has more to fear from the next screeching right wing succubus than he has from liberal atheists like myself. He will work himself into a froth with a Dem- led White House, Congress and Senate, but he'll really be watching over his shoulder. Turn the channel, turn the dial. His weak-ass shit is so over rated.
"Tokyo Rose" O'Reilly is what he is ... and he is compensated well for it ...
And for any employee of Fox News to invoke Goebbels to describe any organization other than their own is absurd ...
Why anyone would take Bill and his motormouth buddy Hanity seriouse is beyond me .They are both full of themselves and....... .
Whenever I encounter a comment on Huffington Post written by an ignoramus or someone who lacks any sensitivity, I often point out the person's failings offering opinions and as appropriate facts to back up what I say. I would certainly like people posting at Huffington Post to honestly contribute to the political debate and calling people names or making insulting and demeaning comments doesn't do this (the comment about Nancy Reagan is contemptible and I don't like the woman).
It would be easy for Huffington Post to censor comments that are offensive but the only problem who should define what's offensive and unredeeming? Obviously O'Reilly feels he should get to do this. Frankly, Huffington Post does censor using what I feel are less than obviously censorious ways. That they censor so judiciously is I feel a credit to the service this web site performs. No, it isn't perfect but it's a damn site more useful than a lot of web sites I visit. As for O'Reilly; I'm not surprised this man knows all about Goebbels and propaganda since he's a past master, which makes him a perfect fit with FoxNews. O'Reilly might consider censoring his own big mouth before pointing fingers.
I'm thinking a criminal prosecution for a charge of "theft by decption". I'm not saying that freedom of speech doesn't apply and that the government needs to try to cut these right wing hate mongers off from access to public discourse. But when someone intentionally lies for the purpose of taking financial advantage (ad revenues based on listenership numbers?) of gullible persons (thinking impaired wingnuts), at least some jurisdictions recognize that a crime has been committed.
Don't slander and libel also apply?
The law offers almost no protection under slander or libel for "public figures". What I'm talking about is not proceeding on the basis of the words/comments used, per se, but because of the calculated nature of the plan to use false statements in general as a means to gain financial benefit to which they would not otherwise be entitled.
Isnt that vile propaganda from the 20's and 30's just like the vile propaganda Bill O. spews? Or, is it more like the vile propaganda that Rev. Hagee spews. What a group of class act republican s... McCain and his friends Bill O., Rush, Bill Cunningham and McCain's special friend and supporter Rev. Hagee.
