New Jersey's delegation is enjoying the first day of the Democratic National Convention and Essex County Freeholder Leonard Luciano, a New Jersey delegate, is sharing some of his photos of the convention with Off The Bus. Luciano noted the delegation enjoyed today's speech from Newark Mayor Cory Booker, who spoke about the DNC platform.

"Mayor Cory Booker had a fantastic speech," Luciano told HuffPost. "He had all the convention from around the country fired up tonight."

Luciano also had the chance to meet with American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten at an AFT lunch today. Lucinao, a teacher in the Newark public schools, is a vice president of the AFT chapter in Newark.
