We are in the midst of an incredible and powerful change on Earth. I know that each of us is actively participating in dreaming a just, sustainable, peaceful, and thriving world for all sentient beings ad that this dream will become reality. So for this Thanksgiving I want to offer a few ways that we all can be "thankfully green" and at the same time take concrete steps to care for our fellow men, women and children (and all life forms) during this economically challenged time.

Commit to donating 20 cans of food to your local food bank by Thanksgiving -- or, if you missed that deadline, before the New Year.

As I travel around this and other countries, now more than ever I see that we truly can make the world a sustainable, just, peaceful, and thriving place. I'm deeply thankful that you and I are doing this for my grandson and all his sisters and brothers -- for the children of all sentient beings -- everywhere.

I wanted to share these new ways that we can all be Thankfully Green during these holidays.

I hope too that you will join me on Twitter @economic_hitman and share how you are going to be thankfully green this season -- just use the hashtag #thankfullygreen with your tweet.
