I recently traveled to Congo with Ryan Gosling. Here's a blog post by my colleague Sadia Hameed, campaign manager of Raise Hope for Congo:

Last December actor and human rights advocate Ryan Gosling traveled with Enough Project Co-founder John Prendergast and Enough field analyst Fidel Bafilemba to eastern Congo. During their visit to Goma and other areas of North Kivu province, Gosling met with civil society organizations, human rights defenders, and survivors of the ongoing violent conflict, the deadliest in the world. Through the collection of original video footage Gosling intends to cast a spotlight on their stories of courage, survival, and hope. Get a sneak peek of some of Ryan's original footage and hear him talk about his trip to the Congo on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

John Prendergast is Co-Founder of Enough, the anti-genocide project at the Center for American Progress in Washington, D.C.
