He is also President of the Institute of Therapeutic Biology where he holds Chair of the Department of Bioethics. He received his Master in Public Administration from Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government, his Bachelor of Science degree from Trinity University, is a graduate of Culver Military Academy and is a decorated Viet Nam veteran.
