The Smith Family Chronicles 7: 'Did You Lose God's Love?'

Posted: 04/12/11 11:50 AM ET

Sometimes people who begin their spiritual journey full of inspired joy and a passion for loving God become, over time, dogmatic in their beliefs, and harsh in their moral judgements of others. In this, episode seven of The Smith Family Chronicles, we discover what might have occasioned that unhappy progression in the life of one man.

Im no psychologist, but I wonder if you are projecting your self in these videos John. I did read your testimony, and I have had strange experiences. I am well aware that if the gods exist (I believe they do, but sometimes I wonder, because they havent done so much for so long) they also have the power to control a person's mind, body and spirit. My husband knew about weird things that I had no idea of knowing, because apparently not only do people have secrets here, but dont be surprised if the gods are a lot like humans in many ways, for example, the god of the bible is jealous, wrathful and angry, and those are human traits.

I am projecting myself onto these characters, insofar as anyone who creates fictional characters for whom they really care necessarily projects some of themselves into each of them. But ... that's as far as it goes. I'm not a Christian housewife; I'm not a conservative evangelical; I'm not a young lesbian woman, etc. It's ... well, fiction.

But if you could choose ...? C'mon, who would it be?

As Ive stated before, my experiences were much different than yours. As for the videos, a fellow artist told me we put a bit of ourselves in our artwork, he had a point. Perhaps Im looking for things, reading between the lines a bit too much, or perhaps not.....The movies have the fascination of a soap opera, yet there are people these things happen to.

"That was the voice of Satan." Somebody's got some discernment somewhere.
