Today, VoteVets.org is releasing this ad, which will air on FOX News and CNN, starting tomorrow. A similar version will be on Rush Limbaugh's radio show in Washington, D.C. and his home market of West Palm Beach. And, at the same time, Senator Harry Reid is leading the charge on the Hill, challenging Rush host Clear Channel to do something about his disgraceful comments.
I don't think I need to say anything more than that. This ad speaks for itself. Please help VoteVets.org keep up the fight. And chime in with what you think in the comments below.

"I have a cyst on my ass." The draft doctor looked at Rush and shook his head. "No Vietnam for you my boy."
"Your service to our country will be broadcasting on radio, where you'll spew hatred and lies for the "sheeple" to swallow. No go home and forget about those bad Viet Cong guys."
Yeah, how did that work for him... the medical deferment I mean? My husband had scoliosis, a damaged Achilles tendon and his vision could not be corrected to 20/20 with glasses and guess what...HE WAS DRAFTED ANYWAY! So how did an oozing butt boil keep this puke out of the service?
Yeah, at least Arlo Guthrie got out of it cause of his criminal background, that heathen litterer!
What an absolute powerful expression that goes well beyond lame Limbaugh. I hope this video gets a wide distribution. I know I'm sending it out to my community. And you know what's great about this ad. The Huffpo postings seem void of fucking trolls.
Very powerful and welldone Mr. Soltz. That was a point struck for truth. Thankyou. This needs to be seen by America.
Crush Fatbod is a waste of bio tissue.
But but but Bill Bennett says Rush was only talking about one so-called soldier who really wasn't one. Believe that, and you have to be a neocon apologist just like Bennett and all the rest who defend him. Why are Republicans so hypocritical? They condemned MoveOn who were only asking a question...Is it Patreas or Betray Us?
Right on John! It is so refreshing to hear the truth, spoken with passion.
We're so used to the falsehoods and insincerity of the Bush league...
Thank you Mr. Soltz. I'm sorry you suffered injury on my/our behalf. I should warn you though. The people you oppose don't mind slandering, belittling, libeling, lying about, and generally trying to destroy the legitimacy of your sacrifice. Don't be surprised when they do to you what they did to Max Cleland and John Kerry. Take comfort in the knowledge that there are hosts of honest Americans who support you and reject their lies.
I wanna see Rush make it through AIT...please? Hehehehehe
I'll say it to any face that meets the criteria Rush set forth, MR Soltz. Stop repeating the liberal lie about what Rush said. You know as well as I do which fake soldiers he was talking about. But you want to get your name in print here, so you continue with the lie. Again, as an active serving military person, I heard Rush, and I know exactly what he was talking about. YOU DO NOT SPEAK FOR ME.
I've noticed that for all the time Rush has devoted to defending himself he has yet to do the one thing that would prove his innocence. Play the phone call in question in its entirety rather than the doctored up version he's offering. The fact that he's chosen to edit the recording as well as the transcript is being glossed over if not totally ignored by the media and this point alone drives away any hint of credability as far as I'm concerned. I guess facts don't matter a whole lot anymore when there's story like this one to tell. If we were paying attention to that the story would likely die and we'd be talking about Ann Coulter's "Camel-Jockey" remark instead. I was listening live when Rush took the call and knew instantly that he would have to spend considerable time on damage control. Sure enough the best he can do is cry that he is a victim and offer up an edited version of what he actually said.
Oh, and another nice touch is the way he's avoided honoring Jon's offer to go on his show live to discuss what was said.
Unbridled cowardice on display for all to see from the sad little man behind the urine colored microphone. I liked him a whole lot more when he at least made an attempt to stand behind what he said rather than wimping out and blaming everyone else for his problems. Seems to be a regular habit of his anymore.
Dittos Rush.
I am a Purple Heart vet, and an infantryman. I came out against the Vietnam War in July, 1967, and was rattled by Army Intelligence for doing so. I would have to say, yes, Mr. Stolz is correct in nailing Limbaugh, who is a complete limp dick when it comes to ANY SERVICE for his country. And, if one looks deep enough, they'll see that Limbaugh is in quite a crowd when it comes to how many bad-asses in the GOP -- have never served, much less, served in war, much less, served in combat.
Limbaugh's a jackoff.
Amen, brother...and thank you.
As a purple heart and bronze star recipeint and 100pct disabled veteran... All i have to say is Bring Them Home!
Also have a cib purple heart and bronze star ...I agree
zenhead - you completely nailed it. Thank you.
Rush is the one who is for real - people. He is a bonifide drug addicted - fat assed chickenhawk, with an alligator mouth and humming bird balls.
Yes folks rush lameballs is the real deal.
Limbaugh refers to himself as ..."the most dangerous man in America", and I must agree with that, if you consider that he's just a re-incarnation of Josef Goebbels, Hitler's propaganda mouthpiece. One just has to substitute Hitler for the Orwellian mind-poisoners of the Bush Administration!
LOVE IT - LOVE IT - LOVE IT and I would like to Thank you for your service. THANK YOU
HES ANOTHER fuckn republican like Chambliss, Bush, Frist and others who think killing a few thousand GIS is worth it to stay in office.
powerful and to the point. keep up the good work. this is a democracy we live in, something Rush Limbaugh has forgotten, along with the rest of the neocons.
That was awesome! Way to get right to the point and the truth of the matter. Very powerful.
Thank you.
