Jonathan Kozol received the National Book Award in Science,
Philosophy, and Religion for Death at an Early Age in 1968. His
newest book, Letters to a Young Teacher, was published two weeks ago by Crown.

Jonathan's recent writing has appeared in Harpers Magazine and Education Week and pieces about Jonathan in the Boston Globe and LA Times.
