Jonathan Padilla serves as the Treasurer of the Young Democrats of America. Jonathan is an emerging leader in Democratic politics, the Latino community, and in his home state of California. He is currently a rising senior at Harvard College where he studies government and has committed to Teach for America for the next two years where he will be teaching elementary school in Las Vegas. A former member of the Democratic National Committee’s Youth Council and current delegate to the California Democratic Party, Jonathan has been engaged in Democratic politics for 12 years. He has worked on Capitol Hill, in the White House, and at google.org. Beyond politics, Jonathan is active in community work with the Catholic Church and the Hispanic Heritage Foundation, where he seeks to advance the educational and leadership opportunities afforded to young Latinos.
