That was perhaps the perfect cartoon

depiction of Rep'. Cantor.

You caught his basic, slimey self.

NO heart in that boy at all.

CONGRATULATIONS!

He's a gift. To a cartoonist, anyway.

I wonder if Cantor would agree to cut aid to Israel and use that for the American hurricane victims? NOT IN A MILLION YEARS.

or any of the other countries we send it too for that matter.... i would think that would be a great place to start on the debt crisis too, just sayin.

Spot on. Great cartoon and oh, so accurate.

Perfect!

Excellent cartoon. You really hit it home.

Maybe Cantor can show us how to do this by giving up the "socialist entitlement" referred to as his congressional perks--over paid salary for life, Cadillac health benefits, personal gym, staff and security, etc. which the tax payers pay for.

I'd think more of a politician if they were to look at their position as a public service than a career with perks none of them need. Makes me wonder just how much the American public will take before revolting and putting a stop to all the madness and assault by the abusers.

And the reason Cantor is the only one in the cartoon, is because he is the one who said it.

Only lunch money? Not a life of indentured servitude? You give Cantor and Co too much credit for basic humanity.
08:59 AM on 08/30/2011
ahh... you miss the point though...

cantor and the GOP would only provide equal amount of help as they recieve. lunch money gets you an umbrella. revenue for new roads and infrastructure gets you a dozen sand bags.

One question: how did you decide that ONLY Cantor qualified to be in the cartoon?
07:47 PM on 08/28/2011
Taken too long to draw the entire GOP

As House Majority Leader, he was the one that made the statement that any disaster relief monies spent by the federal government had to come from spending cuts elsewhere in the budget. Some of the GOP Reps. themselves in the flood-stricken areas were taken aback by this.

So very true. Well done.

Let antor make his own contribution by giving up that socialist medical insurance coverage he enjoys as a US Congressman. You know, the one that gives you a menu of health care choices each year to choose from; the one for which the US taxpayer pays 2/3rds of your annual premium. As a retired federal employee, I have the same great deal. Cantor would prefer the US public not be aware of socialist benefits.
