It's 3 A.M and a there's a phone ringing in the White House. Somebody, of course, will have to answer that phone. Somebody with sound judgment and unwavering courage. One thing is certain: it won't be you. You're too busy -- too busy making crazy hot love to a partner with bone structure so perfect it's destined to make even A-list movie stars envious. How'd you get so lucky? Simple. It's because you're a Democrat.
Now there's a straightforward campaign message we can all get behind -- and the one at the center of Blue Balled, the premiere film from TruthThroughAction.org -- a new political organization founded by independent filmmakers in New York. By bringing the Indie community and political activists together, we're creating edgy short films and online videos that support the Democratic Party. They're being distributed for free on video sharing websites like Youtube.com.
Our goal is simple -- engage young voters in an innovative and cost effective way, providing them with the sort of entertaining content that reminds them that being Democrat is "cool," the sort, perhaps most importantly, that they are willing to spread virally online. By supplementing the message coming directly from the party and campaigns, we're making sure we use every available method, and every new technology, to win back the White House this November -- and keep it. Through Election Day, we're planning on producing more than a dozen films in all genres, each with a bit of an edge and clever hook.
This past Thursday, over six hundred people joined us in Manhattan to screen Blue Balled, enjoy "Political Monogamy," an accompanying photo exhibit by Reka Nyari, and contribute so we can continue making progressive films and videos. Check out the film below, forward it to friends and visit our website today to get involved.

Pretty cool ad.
irreverent, not exactly subtle ... and very funny.
My God, what do I do?
I guess I have to call all my friends who are democrats and tell them we can not see each other any more...
Most likely the best news they'll have heard in years.
That might be the better part of valor do it now! Just the thought of you any where near a Democrat creeps me out, ewwww.
seriously
Don't worry Con. If it is true that it's the bad boys and those who are out side the norm who attract then you would be in the ball park. Anyone can wear a donkey pin. And long hair could mean he is too poor to afford a barber. And picking up someone who wears a donkey pin on a dark street certainly makes our young lady star a probable candidate for an exceptional amount of nasty conditions. And the donkey thing? Well, it's like guys who need guns to demonstrate their manhood.
That was one cute clip -- I'll have to send that to my 40-ish kids.
You sure those actors were over 18? Migawd, they looked young!
Of course, being old will do that.
Okay maybe it's my age (57) and gender (female) but that was just made of awesomeness and the funiest thing I've seen in a long time regarding politics.
First, you can't tell a book by its cover.
The red blanket - perfect!
The Clark Kent look of the hot Dem guy who turns into a political Superman sex machine - priceless!!
Very tasteless.
Very misleading. Who cares what party candidates belong. Unless we wake up and truly care for ourselves and elect politicians who would put our (not some other country) interest on the top of their lists, do not expect any changes soon.
Same they waste their talents on the Dems. The Dems and Reps are two sides of the same devil. Its a facade that tries to see them as different and tricks us into "picking a side". Reject the game.
I'm really open minded, but I certainly couldn't back this as a notice to get anyone to vote Democrat. The actions of the characters in this video remind me more of what we have been going through with the GOP, so why portray Democrats as being close-minded and irresponsible? Nope, this doesn't touch my patriotic side; it just offends me.
way too long for that payoff (if you can call it that).
what's wrong here is that it's about stereotypes, not about anything concrete or real.
also, it's edited poorly and is smug and self important.
are we "liberals" supposed to be more creative?
I think we all know who the real 'ho-bags are
(hint: it's not Dems and it's not Women)
When he straightened out his shoes it was cute. Otherwise... **1/2 (out of four stars)
Hmm.. Portraying Democrat women as bimbos for the asking. Rather demeaning message, no?
Hell no! You saw her as a bimbo says a lot about you what about him? jeez did you walk into that one you "dumb-blond" Republican, lol DOH!
This is too funny! A couple of years ago my late husband bought a box of misc. stuff at a garage sale. I went through it and found an 8X10 framed pic of HW. I literally had a fit and burned it. He really wasn't into politics at all and he thought that I'd lost it. It really wasn't too far a scenario from this movie script (except we did have a "happy" ending). Like I said, too funny :D
Priceless. I was recently at a wedding and met a beautiful blonde girl. We were having a great time until we started talking about politics, where she informed me she was a huge McCain supporter and was positive that Obama had gone to "Muslim School." Yes, I said it...Muslim School.
I promptly changed seats and ended up hooking up with one of her friends instead later that night...an Obama supporter. Ha!
As an old woman, you made my day RFG45. I am in love with today's generation. Kids right now are smart, honest, and very committed to the good of the country. You didn't dissapointed me. Not only looks are important, but brains as well. Good for you!
