Josh Zaharoff is the assistant director of campaign finance reform at Common Cause, focused primarily on public financing of campaigns. Josh works with Common Cause staff and lead volunteers across the country to generate grassroots pressure, local media coverage, public education opportunities and direct lobbying in critical states and districts on Congressional and state-level public financing. He also coordinates national staff work on campaign finance issues.

Josh joined the Common Cause staff in September 2006. His past experience includes three years working as a public interest organizer on issues ranging from clean energy and national forest preservation to lowering the cost of higher education. Josh graduated from Yale University in 2002.
