Joshua Colangelo-Bryan is a litigator with Dorsey & Whitney, an international law firm, which has represented Guantanamo Bay detainees for three years. Prior to working for Dorsey, Mr. Colangelo-Bryan served with the United Nations Mission in Kosovo, where he was involved in the prosecution of criminal cases involving war crimes and terrorism. He has also done post-conflict humanitarian aid work in the Balkans.

Truth and Reconciliation

While it remains unclear whether the United States will create a commission of inquiry to investigate abuses committed after September 11, the process of reconciliation that might be one aspect of such a commission has actually already been started by a former Guantanamo detainee and a former Guantanamo guard.
