From a website showing examples of challenged ballots, my favorite:

What this guy didn't realize is that a vote for Al Franken already is a vote for the lizard people!

Hmmm... of the two, Norm Coleman is by far more lizardly.
Even Lizard People would be better than Coleman.
Franken will be a breath of fresh air ... a politician who is on record for having spoken the truth, to wit: "Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot."
Before Thom Hartmann took over his timeslot on Air America I would listen to Al Franken three hours a day. He is brilliant and a true progressive. We need him in the senate.
I love the psychology underlying the "Lizard People" ballot. The voter clearly chose Lizard People for the office of President, in preference to McCain, Obama and others. This choice is indicated by the darkened circle. On the other hand, the voter indicated that he/she preferred Al Franken over all others running for the Senate, including the Lizard People. Thus, Al Franken is viewed more favorably than not only the Lizard People, but even more favorably than John McCain and Barck Obama. You should be very proud, Al!
This is definitely a vote for Al Franken. Note that "Lizard People" is also written in the vote above but with the oval beside it blacked in.
Franken is not a neocon. 'Nuf sed.
Jim Morrison for Senator?
SO being a staunch democrat and full supporter of the party, Coleman is the ONLY republican I am rooting for! I think al franken will be the worst thing to happen to the Senate in a long time. Look at how he has acted in this race... The guy is a crack-pot! I guess with Senator Craig leaving the senate there will be a vacumn for the CRACK-POT of the senate as Franken (If he wins) would fill the spot well. Al Franken to me is no better then Rosie or Morrer, they are divisive and inmature! Lastly, Al Franken was even that funny on S&L... I dont know why his carreer ever even took flight? Maybe a shortage of comedians at that time!
I remember Al Franken when he was a regular guest on the old MSNBC (pre-9/11) Phil Donahue show.- and frankly - I was kind of impressed with him. He seemed quite well versed and like he knew what he was talking about. As for being "senatorial" - he can't be that much worse than most of the rest of them...
Al is one of the few liberals who can cut Ann Coulter down to NOTHING... he is smart, no doubt about it and passionate about progressive issues....He will be fabulous.
The only reason I would keep cable past my runout date is the opportunity to watch AL FRANKEN ON CSPAN...
