Judy Franks is a lecturer at The Medill School, Northwestern University where she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in media studies and consumer insight. She is the author of Media: From Chaos to Clarity.

Judy has been named to the Top 100 Faculty of Northwestern University by the undergraduate student body for three consecutive years. She joined the faculty in 2008 following a 23 year career in various executive positions in media and communications strategy at Chicago's leading advertising and media services agencies: Leo Burnett, Starcom Worldwide and Energy BBDO.
