I'm voting for putting diplomacy over pre-emptive war, respect for nature over economic greed, honesty & integrity over lying & ruthlessness, hopeful optimism over paranoia & fear-mongering, finding shared values over exploiting our differences.
There is a lot of talk about the candidates running for office.
Regardless of who you like, or what party, the best thing about an election year is that important issues are pushed to the forefront (with any luck!)
Here are my issues.... well...not my "issues," but why I'm voting.
What are you voting for?

I am voting for the elderly poor and isolated. I am voting for ending the War. I am voting for parents, school administrators, police, social workers, and politicians to become the classroom managers so that I can teach and not do the other (disciplinary) work for them. I am voting for starting to change the mindset in this country: From masculine values (competing at all costs, POLICE for everything, prosecution) to feminine ones (empathy, communicating to solve problems, prevention of most crimes and problems, etc.) I am voting for life outside work for everybody rather than living desperate lives in isolation. I am voting for animals rights: Educate children and families that mistreating dogs and cats at an early age is a sign of great criminality at an adult age (First Strike®). I am voting for the revamping of our: Penal System, Educational System, (UN)Justice System, 800 Bases all over the World, and so on. I am voting for a BIG CHANGE.
I'm voting for the restoration of the Constitution and the rule of law. I'm voting for my kids, I'm voting for healthcare and education, I'm voting for the end of Poverty, I'm voting for consumer safety regulation and enforcement, I'm voting to change the tax code and end tax breaks for profitable corporations and the wealthiest 5% of Americans. I'm voting for the return of the American Dream over the American Fantasy. I'm voting for CHANGE!

Hey I'll watch you in anything, Christine. I mean Ellie. I mean Elaine. I mean Ms. Hall. Thanks for all the years of pleasure.
You never did get stoned last night on The New Adventures, did you? Oh and Wanda Sykes is fantastic.
I am voting for McCain!!!
BTW compact florescent bulbs suck and are worse for the environment. And our forests are over grown because we will not allow them to naturally burn. Remember the fires in CA last summer? We have the environmentalists to thank for that.
BTW... CFL bulbs are not worse for the environment if you dispose of them properly. They also last much longer so you have to dispose of them less.
Also, forests are not overgrown because of environmentalists. You yourself state they are overgrown because we don't allow them to naturally burn. Putting out forest fires is not an environmentalist policy, it's a fire department policy.
But how 'bout those California wildfires... all completely caused not by overgrown forests but by an extremely dry winter and the strongest Santa Ana winds in decades, all potentially caused by global warming. So we really have ignorant Republican environmental policy to thank for that.
I am voting for ANYBODY BUT McCain!!!
Good job, Julia.
Love your show, too... you broke the Seinfeld curse, probably because you were always the most talented!
