Julie Bortnick
Julie Bortnick started in the fashion industry during her college years. She interned at IMG in their models division, while working at Mercedes-Benz fashion week one season. She also spent a few summers at the well-known retailer, Intermix. As soon as she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lasell College, she dove right into her fashion career. Julie started on the buying team at J.Jill, based in Quincy, MA. Her love of New York City brought her back to work at Oscar de la Renta in their wholesale division. From there, she started working for the supermodel and philanthropist, Petra Nemcova. While she is still employed by Petra Nemcova, she is currently freelance writing in Houston, Texas, while managing her fashion and lifestyle blog, from prosecco to plaid.
