Julie Buckner
As a long-time practitioner and new teacher of yoga with a background in marketing, public affairs and political consulting, some people might say that Julie Buckner leads a double life. Julie is Owner/CEO of InYoga Center, an L.A. studio offering public yoga classes, workshops & events; yoga teacher training; and a yoga-inspired retail store, SEEDS. Her consulting firm, Laurel Canyon Media Group, is co-located with InYoga's office. A Democratic campaign strategist and spokesperson, Julie’s run races at the national, state and local levels, and has worked on behalf of corporate, governmental and advocacy groups on issues at the crossroads of business, policy and the press. With LCMG and InYoga, Julie is uniting and bringing into alignment her entrepreneurial endeavors, dedication to public service and commitment to spiritual growth. In walking these two paths, Julie has realized that, in fact, they are one: the goal is to step with both strategic savvy and steady mind.
