Julie Foucher is a third-year medical student at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University and three-time CrossFit Games athlete. She aspires to combine her passions for medicine and CrossFit in her career and writes about their intersection on her blog, Comfort in the Uncomfortable (www.juliefoucher.com). Although 2012's 2nd Fittest Woman did not compete in 2013 in order to focus on her studies, she hopes to return to the CrossFit Games in 2014. Foucher received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan and is also a member of the CrossFit Level 1 Seminar staff.
