Julie Mencher, MSW is a therapist, consultant, and trainer in private practice in Northampton MA. She is a faculty member at the Smith College School for Social Work and served as the Transgender Specialist at Smith College. Formerly a Visiting Scholar at the Stone Center and Jean Baker Miller Training Institute at Wellesley College, Ms. Mencher currently consults to schools, organizations and corporations on issues related to the GLBT community and women's psychology.
