Rules of Netiquette for Texting

If you've been texting with friends at work and at home, what happens when you take that habit into a business meeting?

In this video, you'll learn some of the Rules of Netiquette for mobile phone use and for texting in a business communication.

1. Don't send a text message when you're walking down the street
2. Don't send a text message to follow up from an important business meeting
3. Don't text while driving. No text is worth dying for.
4. Avoid playing texting games. At some point, pick up the phone and call.

At the end of the digital day, it's still a good idea to send a personal thank you note. Regardless of you communication of choice, seeing a hand written note in the mailbox will set you apart from those messages in your over-crowded inbox.
