What's in a name? U.S. pork producers are finding that the name of the virus spreading from Mexico is affecting their business, prompting U.S. officials...
My wife and I were reminiscing about the various threats to our family. We like to do this at the outbreak any new disease or event that threatens to end life as we know it.
A misplaced priority on profits over human health in the context of a globalized world led to this epidemic and the looming possibility that it will now become the world's latest pandemic.
Our public health system has been under-funded for decades and there are many existing gaps that leave us vulnerable, particularly if the swine flu becomes more severe and lethal.
In the weeks ahead, there will be plenty of hysteria (and misinformation) about the swine flu. If you can, try to focus on what you can control: Your hygiene, your contact with others, and your health.

Poor, poor, pork. Between the dreaded "swine" flu, "pork" barrel spending, "Animal Farm", and Boss Hogg did they ever stand a chance? What's a helpless little piggy to do?
Then, on top of it all, we pack a million of them into a single space and call it a concentrated feeding operation. What's the difference between a pig and a sardine? Answer: The sardine is already dead when we pack it tightly into a can.
Well, at least pigs will always have "Charlotte's Web" on their side.
lol that was awesome! Thanks for that video! Hopefully it will raise more awareness, because it seems like many people aren't aware of this. Thanks again.
Factory farms are morally wrong. I strongly support PETA in their efforts to clean up factory farms. I hadn't thought too much about viruses coming out of these sites, most of my concern has been centered around the poor animals that have to live in these deplorable conditions.
Thank you for your video Juliet. Maybe it will raise the collective consciousness a bit.

Funny, tongue in cheek! I hope I'm not the only one who's mind went to the gutter at the end there. :P

Beef is a lot worse on top of the fact that this video isn't funny.
As always hysterical! I wonder why the mainstream press hasn't touched much on this subject? Maybe because they are run by corporations!
Cute!
