Kaile Shilling is the Coalition Director OF the Violence Prevention Coalition of Greater Los Angeles. Founded almost two decades ago, the VPC takes a public health approach to violence as it connects community service providers, produces events and workshops, and advocates on policy issues with the goal of reducing violence on the streets and in our homes. The United States Conference of Mayors has declared it a model program, and its model has become adopted nationawide. Prior to taking over at the VPC, Kaile was a Development Director at Homeboy Industries for six years.

She holds a Master's Degree in Theological Studies from Loyola Marymount University, and Bachelor's in Social Anthropology from Harvard University.

She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and daughter.
